At New York Eye & Face, all Restylane injections are administered by our board-certified oculoplastic surgeon, Dr. Anaïs Carniciu. She is passionate about delivering nuanced, natural-looking outcomes that are never overdone or obvious. You will look just like yourself – only revitalized, rejuvenated, and refreshed.

I love this practice. Dr Carniciu is amazing and does great work, which is very natural and not overdone. Just had a little filler in my eyes and lips and was thrilled with the results. Highly recommend, and the new office is beautiful.

What is Restylane?

Restylane is a leading dermal filler that comes in a variety of formulations to address aging in the cheeks, temples, lips, nasolabial folds, eye area, and more. Its main ingredient is hyaluronic acid (HA), a compound found naturally in the human body. HA is what gives youthful complexions their resilience, suppleness, and healthy glow. Because HA molecules bind to water molecules, when injected, hyaluronic acid-based fillers can improve the skin’s moisture content, producing smoother contours. Restylane injections take just minutes to perform, and there is no discomfort or downtime to contend with.

What Are the Different Restylane Formulations?

Restylane-L

This versatile filler can be used to tackle problem zones in almost every area of the face, including the cheeks, tear troughs, lips, and nasolabial folds. It includes lidocaine, a topical anesthetic that makes treatment more comfortable and stress-free, especially for patients who are wary of needles.

Restylane Lyft

This longer-lasting Restylane formulation is excellent for enhancing the volume lost to the aging process. It can help to reshape the midface region in a subtle yet beautiful fashion. Not only can it boost youthfulness in the cheeks, but it can also be used to rejuvenate the appearance of the hands.

Restylane Defyne and Refyne

Defyne and Refyne are innovative fillers that rely on Galderma’s cutting-edge ExpresHAn Technology, which optimizes the HA molecules to integrate more seamlessly with your existing skin structure. Defyne and Refyne help the skin maintain its new shape but with the greatest amount of flexibility, helping to preserve natural-looking expressions.

Restylane Kysse

This leading Restylane filler is engineered to plump and revive age-depleted lips without sacrificing fluidity of movement. Kysse provides natural-looking lip augmentation by utilizing the smallest HA particles possible.

Restylane Contour

Restylane Contour fills hollow areas to achieve a more youthful, authentic appearance. Contour is uniquely designed to enhance cheek volume while maintaining a natural range of motion.

Restylane Eyelight

Restylane Eyelight is an advanced HA filler developed with NASHA® Technology. Eyelight is specifically crafted to reduce undereye hollows. Eyelight has a firm gel texture to enhance the undereye area, diminishing shadows and rejuvenating the appearance.

What Can I Expect From My Westchester Restylane Treatment?

Restylane is typically administered in an office setting. Before treatment, your skin may be numbed with a topical anesthetic to minimize discomfort. Some Restylane fillers actually contain lidocaine, a built-in numbing agent. Dr. Carniciu will inject Restylane with either a needle or a cannula. Immediate side effects may include minor swelling, bruising, and tenderness. While immediate improvements in the skin’s suppleness can be seen, results continue to naturally settle and take effect over the course of the next several days. Results usually last for at least one year, though this varies from patient to patient.
